Former teammates Bill Goldberg and Deion Sanders reunite at the University of Colorado in Boulder

On Monday, July 18, 2021, it was announced that Gage Goldberg, the son of former professional wrestler Bill Goldberg, has committed to play football at the University of Colorado. This news is notable because Gage's father and Sanders were teammates on the Atlanta Falcons from 1995 to 1999.

Sanders is a two-time Super Bowl champion and a member of the Pro Football Hall of Fame. He played cornerback and wide receiver for the Atlanta Falcons, San Francisco 49ers, Dallas Cowboys, and Washington Redskins.
